Hello fellow writers,

I am a 28 year old writer with high functioning asperges. I am a writer of many different genres and projects. One of my projects concerns a female in her late teenage years who due to extenuating circumstances has to become a Batman like superhero.

But, due to her asperges and inability to fight she has to make her use the help of females to join her in order to create a hero. Out of one many if you will... they must work as one hero working from the shadows.

Just thought I’d put it out there and see what people think.

If you're gonna be writer you might try using words like "insinuating" correctly.

But dont feel bad. Our possible next vice president confuses "imply" with "infer".
Not that she didnt do an otherwise masterful job of nailing Barr to the wall.

How does this character differ from Kim Possible? An already existing late teen cartoon girl super hero on the Cartoon Network?

sounds interesting enough. i don't like the superhero genre but do try to give it a chance if someone asks me to read a comic they like or something--

that one does sound interesting and potential for various plots. you should have one scenario where they have to help a non verbal child/adult who is being abused by adults - caregivers orr PSWs or teachers or teachers assistants or therapist (any of those categories). and how they go about it..

i think a lot of elements- for plots and characters- could come from browsing the forum here and seeing the type of issues people have brought up.

you could look into people like this writer/vlogger/activist/singer/song-writer, for an idea of a type of superhero who could be part of the team. she brings up points that may inspire you

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtfWSrUfKIw

just sharing a random video as an example.. her channel is good though

You identify yourself as aspie, but you didnt say whether or not this character is supposed to be aspie or not.

How exactly do other individuals help to "create" the one superhero? Do they somehow merge with the heroin in some way. Mind meld?

It’s either a series or a movie that’s live action and it’s about a city ruled by the mob as well as a cop who is slowly worming his way to the top of the political world in the city. She can’t fight or deal with people too well so she finds people online through forums and such like this. She eventually makes a super suit like Batman meets power rangers.

It’s four or five people kinda in a power rangers meets Charlie’s angels things. From the shadows they work as one. Each is a different part of the hero - one for fighting, one for the voice and figure, etc. but each in the same costume.

Thanks! I am definitely going to, just working on fleshing out the storyline.

Still looking for the right title as well. What I am calling it now is: A different kind of Hero, or it takes all kinds (as in it all kinds of people to be a hero).

The basic idea is fine. An aspie becomes integrated into a team in which the aspie both contributes his/her own strengths while drawing upon the strengths of other personalities, and or neurotypes.

The team could be of mixed genders as well. And it might be easier for a male writer to make up mixed gender team, then to create a team of all females trying to mesh their varying personalities.

True but I see it as since the main character is female she’ll deal better with other females.
