DW a Mom hasn't posted - I think she is in California - I'm concerned because of the many problems that state is having.
Hope she is alright.

You seem like a very kind person.

Perhaps she is just avoiding all the drama here lately?

Most people aren't as emotionally tough as me.
I have survived 7 years of WP, after all. 8)
So, yes, that could be a factor.

Pepe "is strong like bull". And that's no Image

Pepe has a problem with tact, sometimes, though.
Meh, it's a trade-off. 8)

I am pretty sure many people here have been aware of that drama over the R word. Not everyone participated in the discussion.

I meant to say haven't. Darn auto correct.

So sweet of you to be concerned! We're fine. A lot of smoke which is forcing us indoors most days, but not in the path of any of the fires and not evacuated.

I've been trying to mostly ween myself away from the boards for years. I've increased my paid work hours and really need to keep my attention there. With my ASD son all grown up and my memory of details from his childhood starting to fade, there seems to be less for me to offer other parents anyway. But I'll always care about all the people and families here so some times I just can't resist.

We're choosing to stay sheltered in place because of our ages, and had both our adult children home until recently, which I really enjoyed.

Hope all is well with all of you. Crazy times. Stay safe. Reach out if you need help with anything in my ranges of expertise (I helped quite a few people figure out the PPP loans, for example, since I'm a CPA).
