I will be honest on the weekend I go to the pub and drink alcohol with my friends.
On the the weekends I drink more than 14 units of alcohol Which is over the UK government guidelines.

I mainly drink pints of strongbow but do you think I am putting my health at risk by my drinking habits?

Yes. Frequent and constant assault like this will give you stomach and or liver cancer.

I have been drinking alcohol on and off since 2008.

I am know I am only 30 but who knows I might have medical conditions I don’t know about?

Jamesy, more and more, science is finding out how important gut bacteria is especially as you age. Now, that you are 30 and getting older, you really should slow it down and maybe take "Align" to improve gut bacteria. When we are young, our bodies can take a lot of abuse but as your organs age, they are hurt by our abuse of them. Actually, excess of anything can be bad for you. 30 is a good time to have a turn-around. Just as you may not know if you have medical problems, the body can heal without you knowing it was even sick. Be good to your body, we only get one.

You're welcome. What time is it there? You should get some sleep. It's 9:15 p.m. here. It must be about 3 a.m. there. Night-night, friend

Heya Jamesy

Going over the guidelines inst a good idea bud, and while there is a small chance you have issues you don't know about, you're more likely to notice symptoms if there's something wrong with you.

I wouldn't worry about taking supplements, having a healthy balanced diet is good enough for the vast majority of people.

I'm 46, used to do similar to you. Then I found it was making some anxiety issues way worse. I stopped completely for a while, and nowadays will generally only have 2-3 drinks max (except on special occasions, maybe 3 times a year).

My head and general health feel way better for it. Find I have more time to do things too, as I'm not wasting a day of my weekend to a hangover lol.

You're not guaranteed to get cancer, just up your chances of it a bit. Alcohol does damage your liver though, and those effects can be cumulative.

The good news is that the liver is very good at repairing itself, it can even grow back if part is removed unless it's very badly damaged!

So if you throttle back for a bit then stick at a moderate level, you'll most likely fix any damage you've done.

It will destroy your brain. It's like a house getting battered by a hurricane, until it falls down.
