are there any autism positive gaming clans out there?

Where would i find non toxic gaming clans?

not any specific game.

Been through some really toxic communities recently and quite tired of the abuse.
Clearly i need help in finding better communities online.

Tell me about it.
A lot of NT sociopaths in online gaming.
One of the worst insults was "autistic", the last time I looked, on PC.
I see it as a sociopathic/psychopathic training arena.

I gave up FPS games altogether because I was fed up with the cheating, even on console games, btw.
I'll give Battlefield 6 a shot, when it comes out tho. ;)

Someone may chime in with a nice gaming clan, but the word 'clan' might as well be code for toxic gaming group. It suggests a hierarchical power structure and these are like a magnet for toxic people. Maybe that's an over generalization.

If you want to play with nice people, I would suggest cooperative games not competitive. Not perfect but definitely less toxic people in my experience.

Most competitive gaming environments are toxic. Some worst than others.
Also whenever someone says the insult autistic i'm like state the obvious much and take it as a complement. I'm someone who takes competitive gaming seriously and am toxic to people. But In my defence i'm just coaching them to get better. Atleast most of the time. I'm sure there's a competive gaming community for autistic people out here somewhere.

The first step to correcting bad behavior is admitting you practice it. :P

I do still play competitive games like Halo Reach (PC), but not using voice chat or anything like that. I am silent death.

yeah i get what you guys mean about competitive groups being toxic, whenever i have dealt with competitive games recently I have heard some nasty stuff such as: N word, ok boomer (whenever i or someone makes an older reference) which is just ageism in my view, as in your older your view is irrelavent. Or i got called a dribbler cause i wasnt very good at a fps game. so much toxicity...

i might try and stick to co-op games they seem to attract a nicer crowd.

but yeah if anyone knows of any non toxic gaming groups/clans then id be interested.

cheers
