Everyone vanished
their replacements do not fool me!

I smirk
like a dying man
hearing
his nurse's gossip.

Reality is God's face.
Words are sticky notes
Who can resist?

Fascinating and succinct, I like these a lot. Especially the second one. The nifty thing about short poems is that there’s still plenty to ruminate on.
