You can't play Duck Hunt on a flat screen TV. The zapper gun only works with CRT TVs.

You can't beat the game. The game just loops.

It was fun when I was little when I played it at my neighbors. After I became an adult my Super Nintendo cr@pped out & I got a knockoff duel system that also plays NES games. The gun not working with newer TVs is the reason why I did not get a system that included the gun & why I did not buy the Duck Hunt game on ebay. I wish the Wii would remake that game & give you the ability to shoot the dog too

Well that sucks. :(

I remember playing that game to death when my brother and I got the NES for Christmas. But I'd hold the Zapper so close to the TV I'd jab the screen sometimes. If I did that now with a flat screen I'd probably poke a hole right through it. TVs aren't built to last now like they were when I was still a kid.

I sat very close the few times I played.it(well I only remember like it was only a few) because I have vision issues & am very nearsighted even with glasses. Your absolutely rite about TVs not being built to last. It's like that with pretty much all electronics, computer products, cell phones, vid game stuff, ect made today.
