Back In School For Social Work
So I was originally a journalism major, and after graduating university I freelanced for a few publications here and there, but I was not satisfied with the job market, so this year I went back to school for a second bachelor's degree in social work. I've been interested in social work for almost as long as I've been interested in journalism, and the great part about that is social work has great job prospects.
I'm not sure exactly what area of social work I want to work in, but I'm thinking either veterans, elderly, or hospice care. I'm trying to keep my mind open because I really want a job lined up when I graduate.
Is anybody here a social work student, graduate, or current social worker? I'd love to hear your input!
