apartment only used $13 more energy than house 2x the size

Oh wow, got an email from the power company which says my 26 year old apartment only used $13 more energy last month than an energy efficient 60 year old house 2x to 3x the size.

I'm supposed to be happy now, right?

And I wonder where the power company which services my apartment complex which has no provision for doing laundry in the apartments got the idea that I can save ANY money/energy on doing laundry in my apartment.
