Now I know you are stupid, given the choice why would you not want this over? You're self aware enough to guard yourself from the side effects but not enough to guard yourself from a potentially fatal virus.

It's the old and overworked first.
Then the young and dumb.

The upper 20th percentile of the young & dumb can skip it since that demographic isn't one to hold onto their own statistical significance. Herd immunity can work without the true idiots being vaccinated as long as we're realistic about how much stupidity actually constitutes an excuse.

My daughter received the first of two Pfizer COVID-19 immunization shots yesterday. She suffered no bad reactions to the shot. She is scheduled for the second shot in January.

I don't want aborted baby parts in my body.

Regarding concerns about proposals connected to aborted fetal cell lines. Among the current list (it could continue to grow), 5 of the 8 proposals are considered to be “ethical” based on expert scientific analysis concluding that they did not rely upon aborted fetal cells for their design, nor do they use such cells in their production. The other three are deemed “unethical” because they utilize aborted fetal cell lines in their production. The expert analysis comes from Dr. David Prentice and his fellow scholars at the Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) and can be seen in this excellent document: An Ethics Assessment of COVID-19 Vaccine Programs. Another excellent and helpful CLI document is A Visual Aid to Viral Infection and Vaccine Production.

Ethical: Novavax; Moderna; Merck; Sanofi; Pfizer-BioNTech.
Unethical: J&J; AstraZenca; Vaxart.

No, but likely I will be one of the last groups to get one.

My mom will get the vaccine first in January, then my NT sister, then me.

Let the elderly get them first, because obviously older people are worthless and if they die no one will care.

At least that's what western society loves to think. I hope I never get old. Nursing homes are horrible places where the seniors get beaten or left to die in their own filth. They're just as bad today as the insane asylums were back in the 19th century. I still have dreams of being put in a home and losing control over my body where I can't move, talk, or even chew food properly.:(

I am at the very bottom of the list for vaccine.

So I've still got plenty of time to treasure my social skills, before the vaccine scrambles my brain into a severe autistic.

Then again, by then the vaccine might have variated into one that is 100% safe and causes no autism, dementia or other brain disorders/diseases. I heard the swine flu vaccine caused some people to get that neurological disorder where you fall asleep at random times (forgotten what it's called). If a vaccine can cause a neurological disorder like that then who knows what other neurological disorders or diseases it can cause? Is my Aspie brain that breakable like the school nurse said in 1999 just before I was supposed to have the meningitis vaccine?
That was what my mum was told: "Don't let Joe90 have the meningitis vaccine as it might make her Asperger's worse". Can you blame me for being fearful of vaccines?

My coworker put it best, anti-vax notions basically imply that you would prefer polio to having autism.

Please have understanding of my fear.
Other than the words "that school nurse was speaking out her ass", why would she say that a vaccine could make my Asperger's "worse"? I really need therapy on this because it has really freaked me out.

Also when I had the MMR vaccine at about 14 months, my mum noticed that my personality changed, not drastically but enough for a mother to notice. I had a fever after the vaccine and kept crying more than usual, and although I heard that is quite normal to have a fever after the MMR vaccine, I don't think it's normal for a personality to change. I didn't have autism symptoms during this time but I went from quite a placid sort of baby to a rather whiny, demanding, crying sort, and that became my personality ever since.
It just seems a little peculiar, that's all.

So now I have 2 reasons to be terrified of vaccines. It's most likely irrational and if I can come up with logical explanations to these scenarios then maybe I might start to rationalize my fears and see the value in vaccines.

I dont understand though, why are you scared of adverse reactions on vaccines, but say adverse reactions to hayfever tablets you would be completely fine with?

Well because I haven't heard any horror stories about over the counter tablets causing long-term brain damage since I've been alive. I've heard more horror stories about vaccines. If they'd just invented tablets to keep the COVID symptoms under control then I think more people would be less afraid.
And because there are always countries at war with one another or some other sort of conflict going on we are all conditioned to live in fear.

In your life you will keep hearing many things that aren't all true. Nonsense can come from power positions, because people are believing it the same way you are. You could have a job in health yourself and still abide by your belief, fear, lack of research and what you hear.

https://www.publichealth.org/public-awareness/understanding-vaccines/vaccine-myths-debunked/

Don't trust anything you hear. It's better to search proven research and statistical data.

Don't believe that the only possibility is that because the substance in your vaccine you have changed in behavior as a baby. Also don't believe someones beliefs when they talk about it, analyze the data. Analyze it may have been just their perception that you have become more of a crybaby after it. And what they believe is irrelevant to the facts and additional possibilities.

I have read the labels on some powder milk brands here. It is horrible what they contain. Not even adults get so many displeasing chemicals. Taurine? Come on. Next they're going to add nicotine. Babies eat worse things than vaccines contain, on a regular basis.

As a kid I had horrible fears of vaccine times, and I would always have nightmares about it. Someone said I was traumatized.
