I love Germany and I root for the Germans when I'm watching old war movies.

I'm not like other people because I collect a bunch of useless junk just because it interests me. lol

I'm not like other people because I delve deep into lore and analysis of things many people would pass by.

I'm not like other people because I have no interest in sport.

I'm not like other people because I do not subscribe to the Either/Or culture. I do not believe that someone has to be part of the problem if they are not part of the solution. I do not believe that others are all either my friend or my enemy. I do not believe that someone must support X if they do not support Y. I do not believe that someone must be a Democrat if they do not support the Republican party on every single issue & I do not believe that someone must be a Republican if they do not support the Democrat party on every single issue. I'm an independent freethinker who believes that the world, us humans, & life is WAAAAY more complicated than this black & white thinking accounts for.

I'm not like other people because I don't care if I stay single, childless and even a virgin for the rest of my life, and when other people half my age and younger whine and moan about how they don't even have a bf/gf, I feel nothing but disgust and irritation.

I also don't drink alcohol even though I live in a society that thinks getting wasted is awesome. I don't mind other people drinking only a little of it, but when they turn into disgusting, sweaty, drooling sacks of human fluids it's really creepy and gross. And what's the point if you wake brutally hungover the next morning? Is your life really that pathetic that you have to do something like that to escape it temporarily.

And I don't think it's fair that adults can't take dolls or stuffed animals around with them in public like kids can. I mean, adults *can*, if they don't mind being stared at or ending up in a cringe video on Reddit or Youtube and having the whole world treat them like garbage. They're not going around murdering or stealing, which is practically more socially acceptable, but what comforts me is not important in their beady little eyes.

I think it would be good if we had teetotalism again.

Nobody on the left or right agrees with me.

Just think it's ridiculous how much people worship alcohol.

If you 'need' any drug, including caffeine, you're an addict or it's medicine. Should be a case of take it or leave it.

I became straight-edge for years after me & my 1st girlfriend broke up when I was 20. She had problems with drugs & alcohol that she was dealing with when we got together. I tried to help but she slipped up a few times & I had SEVER anxiety & OCD that caused me to majorly worry. I would get thoughts in my head that that something bad happened when I wouldn't hear from her rite away & I'd freak out & get an upset stomach that caused me to spend lots of time in the bathroom. I became very controlling as a result & our relationship fell apart. Shortly after we broke up she was bragging online about how she ended up in the hospital & got her stomach pumped from drinking too much. I flipped out & slashed my upper arm 9x & went to the ER cuz it was after doc office hours. I spent the next 5 years seeing a psychiatrist & taking a few psych meds.

I became straight-edge as a coping mechanism. I blamed the drugs & alcohol cuz I could not handle blaming myself for my horrible behavior that probably made things much worse for her. I hated myself & anymore self-blame would of caused me to commit suicide. I went so far with the straight-edge thing that I changed my voting party affiliation. I originally registered to vote as a Libertarian & I changed it to the Prohibition Party.

I worked on myself in various ways & as I learned, grew, matured a tad, I started to become less depressed & started feeling better about things. I quit blaming the drugs & alcohol & started to see & realize that there are underlying issues. There are reasons people turn to those things. I drink occasionally nowadays as a way to relax & I NEVER got into any trouble over it. I only drink a couple times a month & it's no more than a couple beers within a couple hours. I never been drunk or hung-over. About the only issues I've had is that I sometimes get tired & end up falling asleep. I'm on a few psych meds & I take other various meds & never abused em. One is a controlled substance, the benzo Klonopin but I only take it occasionally for different reasons & I only take one pill that is half a milligram.

My political affiliation no longer aligns with the Prohibition Party. The closest I relate to is probably Progressive, Socialist or the Liberty Union Party but there are some things I strongly disagree with them on. I'm not like other people because I do not have the sheeple mentality that soo many people nowadays seem to possess. I'm way too complicated &/or unique to fit snugly in a cubed box. I do not want to fit in & be a carbon copy of everybody else but at the same time I also do not want to be different & stand out. I may be a huge idiot sometimes(OK LOTS of times) but I WANT to be respected & treated like I'm a thinking individual human being who's capable of deciding for himself what he agrees or disagrees with, likes or dislikes, what works for me & what does not work for me. I'm very loyal to people I care about but they do NOT need to be like me for me to care about them. They just need to treat me with respect & accept me as I am & I will do the same in return.

But many people abuse alcohol.
