Six feet used to be considered really tall. It used to be the ideal height that every man wanted to be. Today, 6 feet doesn't really seem that tall anymore because more teenagers and young adult males seem to be much taller than 6 feet. I am 6 feet myself and I walk by other men in public who are much taller than I am. I don't consider myself short, but I don't feel all that tall either. I just feel like I am average height. Nobody ever comments on my height and tells me that I am so tall because my height looks normal. I used to get comments on my height when I was going through puberty, but it stopped once I stopped growing.

I haven't really thought about it.

I wish I was 6 foot.

Heck I would have less dysphoria if I was 5"7 like my dad.

I'm 4"11 ffs. Not even woman sized, that's like 5"2. Child sized :(

Only good thing is that dad did an ancestry DNA test and we partly come from a country where it's normal to be short so I have some kind of explanation and I'm not 'stunted'.

I grew up in the UK back when we were in the EU so I might not have the "s right. I mean feet.

I’m a shrimp at 5 foot 4 and 3/4s, 164.5 cm.

The average height for a man remains 5 foot 9 in the US.

There are many under 6 foot men still.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Average_h ... by_country
6 foot (183 cm) is taller than average but not unusually tall in most Western countries.
In the US, it's 84 percentile - meaning 84% are shorter and 16% are taller than 6 ft.

So, again - tall but not unusually tall.

All that is pretty average----even your mother, since she comes from a place with many relatively short (but strong!) people.

My NT girlfriend is 5'6'' and she's okay whenever someone tells her off for being "too tall."

I am 6ft tall woman. I am definitely tall for my gender but I am on the shorter side compared to my family members and relatives.
