Do you have to put flea medicine on pets?

None of our 3 indoor cats had fleas.

Our dog had fleas many years ago, and we did all sorts of things with that. A very fine comb and water was most effective for that though.

Do fleas take medicine?

*..Visions of tiny spoons...*

If your cat or dog has fleas, they both need different types of flea stuff. Drops are placed inbetween their sholders near the neck because that is the place they are least likely to reach to lick themselves as the flea treatment would not be good for them. (It is even worse for fleas!)

So be aware that flea medicines have been known to kill the little fleas.

I did hear of a guy who went to a guest house which had fleas, and he slept well because all he did was kill one flea and he had peace... As the other fleas were at the funeral of the one he had killed.

(Ok. Some of that did not really happen. It is my humour).
