No. My parents had a litter robot for many years. If you never leave then perhaps scooping yourself is better in the end. The robot has it's pros and cons.

I take care of cats when their owners go out of town. One of the clients has this. I prefer the old fashion clumping litter in a litter box but Tidy Cats Breeze XL is very clean. The kitty seems fine with it. I could see it being problematic if the cat had diarrhea.
