It’s almost like we don’t need flight attendants any longer.

Flying is so “no frills” these days.

I've flown many times on a plane. There was one time in 1998 when I look a big cloth off a serving pan and put it on top of me. I wonder if the cameras caught me.

Trice on a plane.
The flights never lasted more than an hour.

All trips so far involved either going to or coming from my mom's hometown -- which is in a different island...

The third option made me think someone's been drinking Redbull...

And yes, I've been on a plane a few times.

Yes, multiple times, both before and after 2001. But I haven't flown anywhere in years. Last time in a plane was 2013. I haven't gone many places, flew out here to CA a couple times in '98, then flew back to AL a bunch of times over first 7-8 years I was out here. Other than that, I flew to TX once in about '97, and have gone once each to NJ and HI. Hawaii was better than NJ (no offense if anyone's from NJ, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't HI. I'm sure you probably understand, lol...)

Edited to add: Just remembered that I have, in fact, flown without a plane once! I took a curve too fast on my motorcycle in '04 and there was a small embankment rather than a ditch. I was scraping my peg until the front wheel hit the shoulder, but it was a short shoulder so before the bike and I hit the ground, we hit the embankment and took to the air. The bike led, and I was glad because it popped the barbed wire rather than me. I still remember seeing the ground from the air and thinking, "Okay, this is gonna hurt." It didn't, much. Good gear saves lives. A black eye/tripod fracture and some scars on my ribs and the back of my neck from the barbed wire was all I got. Looking at the helmet and the jacket, I could see that the wire wrapped all the way around. An open-face helmet would likely have made me lose my head that day, and I mean that COMPLETELY literally. I kinda wish I still had that helmet, but I just couldn't. Made me nervous to look at it.

I have flown in aircraft both large and small. Also in helicopters - they can be fun. I took my new wife on a helicopter ride during our honeymoon. She hated it.

I haven't flown in hang gliders or hot air balloons. Maybe if I hit to be a hundred! Nor I have I done parachute drops.

I hve been on a plane when I was about two. I scooted it with my feet, but no matter how fast I went with my little yellow plastic plane, I could not get it to leave the ground.

4 times on airplanes.
1 time in a helicopter.
Flown kites hundreds & hundreds of times.

I should really ask our friend if he's selling his float plane to put time and money into a big boat instead if we could take a flight before he does. Never been in a float plane.. my dad did go for a flight with him once, though, and they did do a water landing & take off. 8)

Failing that, I might look into Harbour Air and see if they've put their electric converted plane into service yet.. would be cool to take a seaplane ride over to Vancouver Island in their electric beaver! *googles* - nope, not yet - but it's coming! (by that time I'll also more easily be able to afford/justify blowing money on a short flight over to the Island and back.. I haven't been over there in ~20 years because it's $150 to take a car on the ferry = I have better things to do with $150.)

But have *I* personally flown before? :? No.. because I don't have wings. I have been flying high before, though.. :D
