After trying for five times using sperm donation, I'm finally pregnant! I'm really excited!

Unfortunately, this also means that my boobs are hurting so badly I've been having trouble sleeping.

Congratulations on the pregnancy! Exciting time.

Hoping the breast pain abates soon.

Congratulations!! !

There's a comic about a typically-conceived baby who's envious of an atypically-conceived baby ("so loved") and there's some truth in that.

(where "atypically" simply means "less commonly" ----- which reminds me: love the book "Not your typical dragon" to read with your young child.)

Congratulations.

And I hope the pain abates, and that you could sleep better.

Congratulations! What great news!

My advice is to get in the habit right away of taking a daily walk, and doing yoga. You don't need special pregnant people yoga. The routines for elderly people are appropriate for all fitness levels.

Enjoy every moment!

I've been doing daily walks already, but I've been told that yoga is a bad idea for me because I have joint hypermobility. Apparently yoga emphasizes increasing flexibility and that's the last thing I need!

First of all, congrats! I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly!

Secondly, I also have HSD! Pregnancy can definitely cause some issues there, so I think going sparingly with the "flexibility increasing yoga" is a smart idea. However, I think there are some strength-building yoga programs out there that might suit you more!

I wish I had some of your flexibility :)

I'm stiff as a board!

It comes at a cost, unfortunately (for me at least)! I wouldn't wish the resulting pain and health issues on anyone!

I know....but I still wish I had the flexibility sans the pain.

I'm sorry you have to experience the pain.
