do you enjoy being an internet troll? I don't do it much anymore, but I used to do it a ton in communities I hated... here's a couple of fun ones...
pretending you are a hot girl (phone numbers are GOLD and make for some funny pranks)
pretending you are a racist, homophobe, hardcore conservative, a fan of Ann Coulter, Hitler, Bush, or all of the above (it sounds lame, but since everyone on the Internet is liberal, it's funny as hell. the best part is arguing irrationally)
subtly getting on people's nerves (being a grammar nazi, t4lk1ng l13k th15, etc...)
transforming into elitist bait especially with music (panic at the dico is more important to music than led zeppelin, etc...)
and of course when they ban you, evading the ban repeatedly and taunting
Not everyone on the internet is a liberal, perhaps there is a large amount of Liberals, but I'm not one of them.
I troll sites that I dislike or deem stupid on a monthly basis. The huge amount of idiocy in some corners of the internet makes a fun trolling experience. I normally take up an anonymous alias and post until I'm I.P banned.
It's funny, how people can delude themselves, huddle up in their own warped world view, and throw away reason, logic, and sanity. I try to bring it to them or post counterarguments to their ideas.
Take PETA forums, Yiff communities, Pro-Anorexia sites, Anarchists, Pagans, and Neo-Nazis, as an example. I stay away from religious extremist forums, however, as they have potentially dangerous psychopaths, and being paranoid, I'm not going to risk it. Different forums merit different tactics as well. You don't go attacking Anarchists without an argument, whereas you just post pictures of chubby girls, say that you like them, as well as the odd Sir Mixalot rhyme, and spam them. Of course, there's slightly more than that, but such forums are easy to troll because most of their members are neurotic, unstable girls, which results in lots and lots of laughs due to the stupid responses.
