Do vitamins expire?

Some do. Most don’t become harmful, but only lose some of their effect over time so you might have to take more if they’re past their expiration date. Even though it’s not a vitamin but a supplement, just to cover my bases I want to tell you one exception to this is fish oil. Don’t take that after its expiration date. That would be like eating rotten fish.

The expiration is more of a gradual fade in efficacy than an abrupt end.

There should be a date on the bottle, if it has an expiration date. Sometimes, you have to look hard for it.
