Is working out my upper body twice a week enough or do should I increase it?

I also work out my lower body (legs) twice a week.

I've just started and seen improvements after doing it 3 times a week, for 3 weeks. How long have you been working out altogether? I hear a lot of weightlifters talking about hitting a plateau.

Have you been increasing how much weight you are lifting the whole time?

Not really no. Although I did get some heavier 10 kg dumbells for Christmas.

I workout with free weights at home

I seem to be experiencing beginner gainz
https://steelsupplements.com/blogs/stee ... gains-last

I think when the gains slow down I'll just accept it, as I just need to not look scrawny, then I'll be alright.

What is your goal? After three years you might be quite bulky and any more gains past that might be pointless.

I've noticed that lifting heavier weights for less repetitions puts on more muscle than lifting lighter weights for more repetitions. I carried my daughter up the stairs a few times a month and I noticed muscles growing just due to that, that was just 15 seconds of exercise 3 times a month or less, she was heavy.

What is your goal? To get bigger or ripped? Do you follow any particular program? And do you do any cardio?

Imagine if you raised that to 20,000 steps?

You don't think it's a good thing in all ways?
