Yesterday I was full of confidence (and ideas) about a forthcoming project. But unfortunately, other commitments prevented me from making a start there and then. Later, I felt my positivity drain away. Today, my confidence seems to have gone on vacation-something that happens often. Can anyone explain these mood swings and suggest how I can best get back on track quickly? Also, I am a newly-diagnosed Aspie with ADHD. Are these highs and lows typical??

This happens to me but I havent figured it out.

I had/have mild bipolar, where I feel confident, have loads of mental energy, make plans..then have a crash and feel low mood for weeks.

It's pretty complicated to say what is the reason because each of us is different. I have the same mood swings, but not that often. It happens when I'm worried about something, and that worry makes me feel unconfident.
Also, I have anxiety, and that may also be a reason. But I don't know. I want to arrange a psychology appointment, but I'm afraid for now.
