If I was in charge of the UK, I would...
Get large store owners to get feedback from the public before making rash decisions to move a popular used store out of the high street and on to somewhere customers will have to drive to
Do what we could to save the high street community
Bring back death penalty, only for people who have deliberately murdered another person for no reason and have 100% evidence that it was them
Have all dentist practices on the NHS, as it can be essential
To not give drug-addicts and alcoholics benefits that will pay for them to keep up their habit, instead invest that money into funding more rehab centres and homeless refuges (this might keep people off the streets as well)
To try and have factories or whatever that can turn plastic waste into energy. This may very well save the planet and might save money too
To reward hardworking people, other than a wage, for example people who work hard should be put as first priority on lists for rented housing - and make rented housing more affordable for the working class instead of just for the rich
Look after people with genuine disabilities and disabling mental health, offer them rented apartments or bungalows too
Give people fighting cancer the choice of staying in hospices or even comas while they undergo their chemotherapy, so that they're not suffering and their bodies might recover quicker without all the mental stress that goes with the physical illness. Even if the patient's family can help pay towards it, and the patients without families can be paid for from charities (charity shops are an excellent way of making profits for vulnerable people and animals, as it's recycling too)
Nobody over 70 should be forced to work
Children should start school at 5 years old and will be legally obligated to go to school until they are 18
Try not to cut trees down as best we can, and if trees do have to be cut down for construction, the same number of trees must be planted elsewhere to make up for it
Animals should have more rights than we give them, as it's their planet too. Even wild rats must be protected, and if they are causing a problem in your home they must be dealt with by the animal protection agency using repellent, not poison. No animals should be harmed or killed in such inhumane ways
Bullying in schools should be taken much more seriously, including the bullies being suspended or even expelled. Although subtle emotional bullying may be harder to identify and deal with, this still may help some think more before they act. Also children should have an hour a week being educated about things like autism and downs syndrome. It might not make all children become understanding of those who are different, but it might make some less afraid of them, as some bullying towards different children comes from being afraid of children that are different
The very rich should be taxed more, especially footballers and Jeff Bezos. Some of that money could go towards much needed healthcare and other essential resources. Those rich people would still be rich, but nobody needs as much money as Jeff Bezos
Health organisations should focus on the consumption of alcohol and cigarettes more than sugar and salt
All cash cards must have a photo of the owner's face, or for power of attorney the card holder should provide the card owner's identity details. This may deter thieves using other people's cards with contactless
All apartments must have insulation to muffle sounds from neighbours more
EDITED
One more thing I've just thought of: Black people and white people should be treated exactly the same, not one rule for black people another rule for white people.
Can't think of any more but if the government even considered at least some of these, this country might be a better place to live in.
Please do not mock me or personally attack me. I have avoided posting in PPR for that reason.

A bit of a wide ranging list there Joe. I don't think you would find a political party that would bring back the death penalty and make all dentistry NHS funded. The latter would cost billions at a time when government borrowing is going through the roof and no conviction is ever 100% watertight imo.
I would add I would legalise all drugs, tax them (put the dealers out of business), create hundreds of jobs growing the cannabis etc. As an alcoholic schizophrenic with ADHD and out of work and on PIP myself (my alcohol is paid for out of my savings as I only get £500 a month which just about covers my rent, I pay full council tax, and bills and pay for my prescriptions) I can see where you're coming from on not giving alcoholics carte blanche to drink themselves to death (maybe food vouchers instead of cash might be an idea) but putting them in a homeless hostel around other users isn't going to help break the cycle imo.
The trouble with increasing taxes on the rich is they can just move abroad (like Lewis Hamilton) so you end up getting less revenue.
Interesting list anyway.

I was gonna say about legalising drugs as well.
I actually believe in giving people what they want so I usually give homeless people money for beer and cigarettes myself.
An NHS dentist would be an absolute godsend for most people in the UK.
I'd make it illegal for dog owners to hang little bags of dog poo on trees. If an alien came to earth from another planet they might be in danger of believing that we grow dog poo trees on planet earth.
