King Charles III is now the monarch of the United Kingdom.

Long live the King!

I will not salute him as any king of England as he's a slime ball all the way around. He killed Princess Diana because he wanted the crown then and I bet he killed his mother.

Will cost a fortune to reissue all those bank notes and coins.

'Because he wanted the crown' makes no sense at all. And King of England is OBVIOUSLY not one of his titles (just as Queen of England was never one of Elizabeth II's titles) and since we don't salute our kings unless in the armed forces, and in uniform (with correct headgear) not sure what point you're making.

It will be odd having a king and not a queen. I wonder how he'll get on with the crooked government of Britain...

I will not salute a man who poisoned his wife and mother.

I will not salute a man who killed Jesus, Elvis and the Easter Bunny.

I have nothing against him but couldn't we have a transition period so that we can keep Elizabeth II for a while? Not that I support monarchy but losing such a familiar grandma figure is actually very sad.

The thing I like about King Charles III is that he is an environmentalist, interested in green issues, and he has been for many, many years. Hopefully he can use his influence to encourage people to move away from fossil fuels etc. and towards renewable energy. He could make this a big deal without getting involved in politics.

Charles certainly wouldn't have become King by virtue of "killing Diana."

She'll get a bit smelly in a few days, and propping her up at official events may prove awkward, especially getting her to do the royal wave. So maybe best not.
