I’m half Persian, my dad was born in Iran, does that make me Middle Eastern or just my father? I always asked my mom what am I, I saved email from her :heart: :heart:

What a Persian hug? Nobody answers my question. Since I’m half Persian, does that not make me middle eastern?

Some forms & people can get very hung up on labels & a person's ancestry. Kitty, I would say your half Iranian/Middle Eastern & half whatever race your mom is. Some forms let you select multiple races. If you had to pick one label, I would go with White/Caucasian if your mom is. If you say/pick Iranian/Middle Eastern, some people might get confused & assume that your an immigrant from there. If it comes up in conversation, you could just say that your dad was from Iran & your mom was white(or whatever race she was)

Thanks Nick :D I just want to know. I’m on reward sites & I’m doing surveys for money, they keep asking me for my background, I was just wondering. I am white, I’m also Hispanic.
