You've been possessed by NT demons who want your soul. Bummer.

I thought it wasn't clear cut anyway- that there are a defined set of characteristics, and if you have enough of them you're aspie, and if you aren't you're NT. . . I'd think that most aspies have some NT characteristics and most NT's have some aspie characteristics- I thought, there are borderline cases, sure, but half and half? What would the difference be between borderline and half and half? Or do I have it all wrong?

You aren't a pure aspie?

Turn in your "Aspie Power Movement" card and leave. We don't want your kind around here. You might pollute the gene pool. ;) :D

Well one thing you clearly still think like most AS all or nothing thinking. And you could asign a percent of AS brain type, i guess that's what the brain doc did ? Try to get past the all or nothing of the DX have or do not have it's not that simple. And that comment about genes reminds me 2 NT parents one could have hidden AS genes that get expressed and you have someone with austism low middle or high type.

I don't know. Probably, .... but have a look at Melantha's video

(Melantha, I saw you post after a long absence. If you see this, welcome back. I hope you don't mind me posting your vid here, but I think its a great video and sums up how I feel too).

I think Jimmy Neutron is trying to say he is a borderline aspie. So he probably isn't truely an aspie and only has the symptoms of it but was given the diagnoses anyway because he didn't quite meet the criteria or he meets it off and on.

There is no listing for borderline AS/NT in the DSM-IV. My belief is that you either have AS or you don't. Although I also believe you could be either a very NT-like aspie or a very aspie-like NT.

DSM IV doesn't so much describe reality as put fences around it.
