Why did your friends dump you?

Why did you dump your friends?

They usually dump me because I have trauma.

I don't dump friends.

Because I neglected/involuntarily ghosted them



Because I prefer to be alone, my "social battery" capacity is generally low, or because I became more intolerant of lies with age.

Correction:

I said I don’t dump friends. I’ve faded out of lots of friendships when they pressure me to see them a lot in person, or if they don’t respect my autistic personality. I still consider those people my friends even though I don’t see them. If they messaged me and needed a favour I’d still help them. If that’s not good enough for them, that’s their choice.

Since I’m not working any more I don’t see any of my former friends in person and that’s fine with me, but I still care.


Most of my friends are online. These people know I’d lay my life on the line for them. I’ve never dumped an online friend. It takes a while for people to earn my trust but once they do, I’m loyal for life.

My friends dump me because they realise how boring or stupid I am.

No idea why people dumped me. Probably bc i am not cool enough

I dumped some people bc i didn't find myself worthy of being their friend.

1. They meet other friends and drift apart
2. They weren't really my friends and didn't like me to start with
3. I have done and said things they dislike or disapprove of
4. I am very outspoken

B. I have dumped friends because

1. The friendship was one sided
2. The friendship was unhealthy
3. I am in a different place in my life
4. That friend leaves me at the bottom of their list
5. That friend is unreliable
