My 13yr son was recently diagnosed with ASD. Upon reading up on Autism, It soon became quite apparent that he got it from me. Last week I finished Nerdy, Shy and Cocially Inappropriate by Cynthia Kim and all I could think when reading was that she knows way too much about me! I knew I was different and that I had auditory processing issues, but wow, she really nailed it on the head for me. It puts my past experiences into a new context and explains so much.
