Is there any film composers turned directors?

I know directors compose their own films. But what about the other way around. Is there any?

Robert Rodriguez is often known as "the one-man film crew" for his style of filmmaking which includes composing music for his films. He calls this style "Mariachi-style."

Sure, Robert Rodriguez has made a few flops over the course of his filmmaking career (Sin City 2, anyone?),
but the majority of his films are well worth your time to watch.
