I think they are amazing and hope I get to see them in concert, but yeah idk I guess if you don't like Mongolian throat singing you may not like it but idk how anyone could dislike it. Sounds so epic...but I am a metalhead so I am used to harsher vocals being used in music due to all the metal I listen to. but the hu is something different but still great.

Do you mean "Dr Hu"?

But seriously, never heard of it before today.
I can't ever say that again, now.

No.
She obviously means "The Who".

Pete Townsend, Roger Daltry, etc.

Yeah. You posted a video of them once before. I was already acquainted with Mongolian style "throat singing". And its usually ... hard to listen to (so bad that its funny- though professional musicians find it fascinating because these singers can 'sing' several notes at once). But the band you posted does have a certain something -they combined traditional throat singing with rock in a certain way that actually sounded cool. :)

Could you post an example?

As most bands have one or two great songs ...so you've already done that research....

This is the only song of theirs that I really like. I find that the throat singing can become grating to my ears.

I tried to start the clip 59 secs in so the beginning nothingness is skipped, but wrong planet doesn't seem to like that...

Direct link to the music video, beginning at the song's start.

Thanks for the examps.

I wouldn't listen to it in my spare time but did find it interesting.
