I'm in ultramarine blue Massachusetts but my fear is bullying and harassment by neo-nazi bullies. Hate has no borders and I'm terrified of what the future looks like.

I'm in a "blue" state, and I feel more likely to be tackled by or shot at by police than helped by them. I don't carry my autism card anymore either.

Can anyone elaborate on the dangers of being openly autistic?

People have been shot for not immediately following directions, Arrested and handcuffed for stimming in a public park, and been forcibly taken to hospitals for psychiatric evaluations for "odd behaviors", Had limbs broken while being dragged by police/school "safety" officers, etc.

Police in Florida used a taser on a non-verbal autistic man who started to run away when officers became aggressive when the man wouldn't answer their questions.

Which is why I seldom leave my apartment, except to take out the trash, check my mail, go to the doctor, and go to church.

Florida is going after LGBTQ people. We're next on the nazi hit list.

Yes, historically nazis did go after disabled people and those considered unable to contribute to society. Eugenics is a hell of a beast.

I will say that the right wing family I grew up in, while severely LGBTQ-phobic, did condemn eugenics. When I studied world war II in school the study plan focused a LOT on the prevalence of eugenics in the nazi regime.
