What is the oldest house you have lived in and the youngest house. (Not talking so much about temporary houses such as while on holiday. Talking about places that one has lived in for a while).
For me it is difficult to tell but at a guess the oldest was around the 9th to 11th (At the latest) centuary, though the last place may have had its origions from before that (Though we can only prove it was there before the 1600's though right nearby was an early enclosure "Church" known as a "Llan" (Often mistaken as a hillfort) which dates from the 4th to 6th centuary when the early Celtic saints first settled here), and the newest was about the 1860's to the 1870's at a guess which was a terraced house built for the miners on a hillside mining village which was certainly there by 1880 (ish) if not before. (Think dates can be looked up in this case).

Is interesting with houses when and why they were built and who has lived there before. Often generations of people have handed down ownership like a relay race from one owner to the other, each adding bits and taking away bits as they alter things to suit their lifestyles and tastes... All interesting stories in their own!

Oldest is my current place, the corner stone says 1906, youngest 1920. Both poorly insulated and the 1920 place dusty no matter how much I cleaned.

my house(houses) are at least two-hundred years old, with big stone walls, fixer-uppers, ofc
something like this
Image
its almost a job to get and keep them up to some sort of standard
legend has the main house was a stagecoach stop, also its build on the/a roman road , on the side ofcourse

the newest,
the newbuild- my parents had had build, that one (project) never got finished, the good (economic) tide went out after the first section was completed
back to the future & it's down, towncounsel blocked sales for, "pollution" with nasty tales of evil-doing in the papers, now its rebuild with top end housing, cheap purchase is more profitable
