I really just scared myself I don't know if this is Aspergers related, It's not that serious my job but I had a hard time keeping up especially on a Saturday, I don't mean to sound arrogant but if us Aspies are so smart then how can a Dunkin Donut job be difficult? I am very hard on myself in all aspects of life, so when I got home I just had a emotional meltdown, but when I get upset my mind is mentally on past traumas, plus being embarassed of not being able to do simple tasks in a fast paced environment, also seems everybody can laugh at themselves or form groups better,
Because we often have uneven skills, and we have to do a lot of things intellectually that other people can do more or less automatically.
It takes a lot of brain power to mask, and even if you're not masking, it takes a lot of brain power to adapt much of what you're supposed to be doing to something that actually makes sense.
Also, I'd personally avoid fast-paced environments, I can sort of get away with it because I'm ADHD as well, but it's not particularly worth the stress otherwise.
