Wrong time and date.

Why does it show the wrong time and date for postings. Postings made now are coming up as being posted Friday August 17th in the morning. What time Zone is wrong planet using?

WP members come from many different times zones and consequently cannot be synchronized. Some of us even have a different vortex (ie: the Aussies here). You are entering cyberspace.

In your profile you can make wp show when it was posted in 0000/GMT/UTC that would be most right i think. Some one in Europe posted in the 17th their timezone.
Take a look at this website http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html
Pick UTC, a city near you and say london see the diffrence ?

you can set your profile to see when the posts were posted your local time. It's about three quarters of the way down.

and you won't bother the time machine, either!
