Idk but like I need some days off...?

I am a part time animal care worker for lab animals, but like it is really hard the work itself and well some of the animals don't make it, which is hard so trying to find a different job. also though I have only willingly took one day off and at another time I got covid so I had to stay out for 5 days but that wasn't my choice I had covid so I couldn't go in. That said I am glad I got all the covid vaccines, I still got covid but I think the shots made it much less severe. Cause like I tested positive for covid but yeah I was only really feeling sick for the first day where I think I got a fever that just burned a lot of it out, because yeah that day getting out of bed was hard but after that I felt better but still had to avoid my job for 5 days to be safe to not potentially spread it to the animals or other employees.

But this is my own making, because I could fill out a time off request, and they would probabably be fine with it, its just I would like to go on some kind of trip with my bf I want him and me to go to yellowstone, I think he'dd really like it because he likes to build minitures and like post apocalyptic looking stuff so I think he'dd appreciate the look of the area and Idk I just want him to see yellowstone becuase it was one of the coolest places I went as a kid, but he got to go to alaska as a young adult which I am a little jealous of.
