I guess it can be a jpg , png or gif file.

140 x 140 pixels max and the file size no more than 15.77 Kb.

You can use Microsoft PaintBrush to resize a photo and save it in
a jpg (jpeg) format.

I saw your squashed Earth avatar in the greeting thread to me and quickly added it to my collection of gifs, jpegs, and so forth.
Don't feel embarrassed about not knowing computer stuff; everybody was a newbie at one time.

You can draw the image on paper, scan it to your hard drive to My Pictures, ( assuming you are running Windows)
resize it here:
http://www.gifworks.com/index.php
Once its resized right click on it and do save picture as in My Pictures.
Then when you go to the profile edit place at Wrong Planet, go browse in My Pictures, and upload it.
If you have any questions you can pm me.

Is that possiable, can anyone help, I'd love that, i'd put it on everything.Tfinn04, As for hand drawn stuff I'm the LAST person to ask, all i can do is ask my daughter, but i'm sure someone here can help you.they were all great trying to help me. :D Thanks again everyone.just called my daughter, she says you need a scanner, or have someone else w/ a scanner ,email it to you, then save in a photo album you can find it in, when you go to set your avatar go to browse, search thru albums till you find it,click on it and click open...there ya go, she also says i need to learn shorthand, darn kids, hope that helps she says, shes a good kid Just saw greatbalzoffire instructions, so much better than mine, my daughter knows she has to explain it to me "the Computer Idiot" so she uses lay-mens (lay-womans, lay-persons???)terms. curious to see your new avatar now. Would love to find that spiderman dancing again. made me LOL that's all the shjorthand i know.

Yes, it's possible, with an iron-on transfer. You print it out, put the transfer on a white t-shirt and iron the image on.

That means i have to buy a printer through, everytime i get one my autistic daughter uses up all the ink in like a day in a half but she laughs so hard when stuff is printing that I don't have the heart to make her quit. Can i email it to someone w/ a printer and have them print it out. that sounds feasiable doesn't it? I wasn't kidding when i said "Computer Idiot  " gotta go to work RIGHT NOW bye will check back when I get home.

Anyone can print it as long as they have high quality ink, and the printer isn't junk from the 90s. You need a pretty high quality printer and expensive ink for it to look nice, or it will look pale or with a shade of....maybe foggy white? over it. Transfer paper isn't too cheap, but it depends on how much you want the shirt, and how many you're going to make. My dad sells the shirts he makes on eBay and makes a nice profit. Just know your uses for it and ask yourself if you have the extra money to spend. I'm advanced with computer stuff too, if you have MSN messenger, you can add me to ask me anything you need quickly. By the way, I'm not sure about your daughter's printing fascination. I print things so rarely that my ink cartridge goes dry, and I usually use printer paper to write notes on.

Gonna go try to get MSN that's messenger huh? I'll figure it out I hope, (I forwarned you all I was old)I always have a ton of computer questions. :) Thank you InfamosMyzt for your kind offer to help me.In October, everyone in Alaska gets a "Permanant Fund Dividend" so maybe then I can buy a really good printer and good paper and I'll make all of you all shirts for your helping me. I'm definatily gonna make me one. I would like to sell them on ebay. That's a good idea, i think i will. how much is a good printer maybe i can get one and only use it when my daughters at school, it starts next week. My MSN is 97% installed. gonna go see if i did it right.

That would be a good printer for it. I'll add you on MSN, just accept the box that comes up when you get it.
