Yeah I'm fascinated by mdma and would love to try it. I've heard great things about it's therapeutic uses. I only take illegal drugs that I can grow myself though, I wouldnt trust anything I bought in this country to even contain mdma.

For the time being, I wouldn't. Even for NTs the research is still relatively young, there's no telling to what extent those studies would impact on ND brains. And I learned a long time ago to be skeptical of proponents of using currently illegal drugs for practical purposes, as that's often only half the store. (If even that)
One of the unfortunate realities is that since we are wired differently, medications don't always behave the same way and there may be consequences for us that NTs don't get or the dosage range might be completely off. And it can also be that they get consequences we don't. But, without a decent body of research to rely on, I wouldn't be putting that in my body without having tried all the more established treatment options first.
I doubt that MDMA in the doses that they use would be fatal, but I definitely agree that without more research that people ought not be trying it. Just because of how few of us there are and that we're wired differently, I'd definitely recommend people try more established treatment options before even considering just cutting edge treatment.

Understand the above cautious statement , but I do feel We NEED more cutting edge therapies, cause the stuff their pushing these days with the exception of a very few things are not very helpful. Even after extended periods of time.
In fact some of their stuff can degrade a persons mental processes on occassion .Mental health professionals need to have more legal oversight from better qualified professionals. Based on personal experiences.
But have no experience with MDMA and its like , but have good understanding of what has been described as the after effects of those treatments. But as with all things stuff can be abused and am sure could harm someone without proper knowledge or help of a professional ?

Loves velcro,
When I was younger, I thought the same. Now I think it's a terrible idea. For mitigating negative symptoms I belive that maintaining a super healthy diet and supplements, is the way ahead. Cutting out sugar, taking ayurvedic supplements like Shilajit and Ashwagandha, having CBD oil at the ready. Natural, herbal supplements, exercise and a healthy gut.

Absolutely, please don't interpret what I've said to suggest that the therapies we've got are good enough for everybody.
My point is that MDMA is still experimental and even with well understood medicines, NDs can have odd reactions at times. And MDMA is still experimental for NTs. The potential risks are more worth it for people who aren't getting enough out of what treatments we've already got. Whereas somebody who could do just fine with already existing treatment has a lot less to gain and a lot more to lose.
I haven't been following this one specifically, but commonly when things like LSD are used, it's at lower doses and in many cases you're talking about only a few sessions, not years worth of use.
But, that being said, I'm definitely on the side of trying what we've already got to see if that's good enough before engaging in experimental treatments where there isn't a lot known about how it impacts the ND brain.

I have no real experience with illegal drugs including MDMA & I personally would be highly cautious about trying illegal things, especially anything that gets manufactured. Pharmacy companies sometimes f#ck-up manufacturing & have recalls for various reasons so I def would NOT trust some individuals without a college degree who claim to be scientists or doctors. That said, I also strongly support individual choice & freedom regarding personal healthcare decisions & believe that a lot of the illegal drugs including MDMA sould be legal for adults & have control standards regulating their growing & manufacturing. I also highly encurage people to take a proactive role with their own healthcare & do some research before trying things instead of just taking their doctor's/psych's word for things. I do talk about psych meds a bit on this forum but I'm not recommending anything. I'm just giving ideas for jumping off points to look into.

MDMA does work for those things - it’s a fascinating experience.
It’s the most fun when combined with LSD at an EDM show.
Recreational drug supply is tainted here, too. If someone were to get any from a suspect source At All, and they’re not an impulsive drug user and are planning ahead for a therapy session or party, there are a few places in the city that people can have any drugs tested for free to see what they contain. A couple of them have mass spectrometers. I’ve read that they setup a mass spectrometer downtown somewhere to test drugs during Pride long weekend in August, too. There should be a lot more services like that. They should be readily available everywhere vs only at 2 or 3 locations in a region with Millions of people.. but I guess something is better than nothing.
