Can any of you aspies out there give me tips or rules about buying clothes. I like jean shorts but the inside of them feel like sandpaper against my skin. How can I tell if shorts or shirts or any clothing is seamless because I look for seamless clothing all the time but I can never tell? Also, are there any tips about what type of wash of jeans or jean shorts I should buy or just about what type of pants and shorts to buy in general. As well as tips or ticks about buying shirts and bras and underwear as well?

I don't ever wear jeans or any thick canvas-like fabric. I like to wear very lightweight rayon pants or gauzy cotton pants. For tops, I pretty much only wear cotton t-shirts (no cotton/polyester blends) and again I go for a lighter, softer fabric. Some t-shirts can be quite thick and heavy. I only wear the cotton underwear that comes in a 6-pack (I think the brand is Hanes if you live in the US). I wear a fairly structured and slightly padded bra that has no underwire.

See I thought I heard rayon was a fabric that was bad for people with autism? Besides jeans what would be other examples of thick canvas-like fabric?

I can't really see anything in the photos, but I know how you feel. Have you seen a dermatologist or an allergist? My bet is that the derm would call it contact dermatitis which boils down to the elimination routines which have been suggested here in this thread. Steroid creams might help too. Is it worse at certain times of the year / weather?

Especially when the threads come apart and there’s little piece of fabric or yarn

Even if there isn’t much redness would it still be smart to get like eczema lotion or cream if it’s specifically for eczema that easy I have it just in case I’m really hurting and dry

Try a diaper cream with zinc oxide.

I would probably wear those but it doesn't mean they will necessarily work for you. I guess you'd have to try? I don't know.

I think this is a good idea. When my mother was very old and had to wear diapers she used a cream called Sarna that is less greasy.

I also wonder if the thigh issue is due in part to the fact that i'm a little ocd and have to shave around that area each day so maybe it's bothering my skin.
