Photos & vid from last night's Celebration of Lights international fireworks competition night one.. (usually there are 4 nights, but from the schedule there are only 3 this year that I can tell) I didn't bother going downtown as it's a total zoo of 400-500k people and I was on my motorcycle so getting stuck in that kind of traffic just sucks - clutch clutch clutch crawling along trying to get out of there. I Could have found a more distant spot to watch and then dip out, but I've seen fireworks before and ended up catching up on some stories with my buddy Ninja after the beach before I rode home.
Anyways, pics & maybe a vid or two from Australia's entry: (and if you're close there's some FM radio station they broadcast the soundtrack on. I've only ever listened to the music component once or twice in all the years I've gone that I can recall - but it is kind of neat that they time everything to music of some sort or another.)
