Why I ended up with a mountain of rubbish...

So... I recently discovered why, apparently, the people who are supposed to pick up rubbish (you know, their usual thing in normal circumstances, but clearly not when they've been voted in for over a decade, at that point I suppose they switch to harassment and threatening people based on, of course, the fact they refuse to pick up the rubbish)... what their excuse is... it is, supposedly, because the curb isn't big enough, or something, which is news to me as I've never noticed and I'm pretty sure it's just a bullsh!t excuse to harass people... but, supposedly it's not too big for... these really thin bins... goddamn, I have a literal mountain of rubbish here, and a mountain of rubbish bags elsewhere, just because some as*hole wanted an excuse they could use when they wanted to annihilate people... goddamn sadists...

That's awful. I'm sorry that this is happening.

Does your town have somewhere where you can drop off the rubbish yourself? Like a city dump? You shouldn't have to do that, of course, since it's their responsibility to pick up the garbage, but it could be a short-term relief?

Have you put any of the bags into the trash collection area? like I get where you are coming from but they don't have equipment to come into your yard and pick up your trash bags. Like if you want them to haul them out you have to bring them to the curb or wherever they pick up the trash. They aren't going to specifically come into your yard or home to pick up your rubbish...you have to put it out for them to pick up.

If you are putting the trash out for pickup and they aren't taking it that is messed up, but idk just sounds weird they would do that.

They have this thing where because of that supposed nonsense, above, they want people to only use their own bags, for some reason... which they only give out twice a year, and since I've recently had to block the mailbox due to neighbors harassing me through it (besides all the awful junk mail) I haven't received any for a while (deliverers can leave them outside, but no, they can't possibly ever bother doing it, and if asked why it's because someone might take them, because rubbish bags are infamously desired by so many)... well, I've decided I don't care, I'm going to start using my own damn bags and if they don't collect them they can use the rubbish to stimulate their anus for all I care...!

I seriously hate 'society'...
