Any fans of Jim Butcher here?

I have only read the Harry Dresden books and the Codex Alera, but when I think about it, it seems his work hasn't gotten the recognition it deserves when compared to George R. R. Martin, Robert Jordan, or even Terry Goodkind. Perhaps because his stuff doesn't follow the same formulae? TBH I find Butcher's take on the life of a wizard more compelling than Rowling's. Maybe he should have published that series in chronological order, instead of picking it up at a certain point in Harry Dresden's career, then filling in the back story in later volumes.
