My dog had 2 seizure like episodes today, and bloody stool.
Did anyone else's dog had any similar experience. He is in the vet now with my parents but unluckily I have covid, after doing some research I suspect it might be some liver problem. Hoping to see if anyone had any similar circumstances.

My dog has seizure-like episodes sometimes.
He's 13 but they started about five years ago.
They happen maybe once or twice a year.

They've never fully determined what it is.
He's tried steroids but they made him mental.
It could be a random type of epilepsy that comes and goes.
It could be an intermittent cardiac issue.
His heart and blood tests always come back normal, though.

He's also had blood but not at the same time.
He had Giardia as a pup and Gastroenteritis as an adult.
Antibiotics usually clear that right up.

I know it's scary but trust that the vets will know what to do.
Keep us posted.

Sorry to hear about your dog :( I've had dogs who have had seizures before but always ss part of age related decline. You don't say how old your dog is. Bloody stool can be lots of things. Basically he's in the right place, only a vet can really tell you what's going on. It's horrible though when your dogs get sick. I hope its something you can treat and get back to normal.

My dog may have brain tumors, I will kill myself in the following years if this also happens to my parents, God bless everyone.

Sucks about your dog. :/

Fortunately they’re not contagious and not spreading to your parents.

My father died of cancer in May. Started as colon cancer, metastasized to his lungs a year or so later. We knew then that eventually it would spread to an organ that would be fatal. In the end, it was his brain. I was there throughout the whole process as I live in my parents’ home.

It doesn’t make me suicidal at all. Quite the opposite - it makes me want to work hard to live a better life to honour the work he did to set things up so well for me and the rest of his family. I’d be disrespecting him, otherwise.

Just saying. Perhaps a perspective shift is in order.
