Zealand, largest and most populous island of Denmark, lying between the Kattegat and the Baltic Sea, separated from Sweden by The Sound (Øresund) and from Funen (Fyn) island by the Great Belt.

OG Zealand is in the Netherlands, From wikipedia:

Zeeland (Dutch: [ˈzeːlɑnt] ⓘ; Zeeuws: Zeêland [ˈzɪəlɑnt]; historical English exonym Zealand) is the westernmost and least populous province of the Netherlands. The province, located in the southwest of the country, borders North Brabant to the east, South Holland to the north, as well as the country of Belgium to the south and west. It consists of a number of islands and peninsulas (hence its name, meaning "Sealand") and a strip bordering the Flemish provinces of East and West Flanders. The country of New Zealand was named after Zeeland after it was sighted by Dutch explorer Abel Tasman.

I was lucky enough to be born in New Zealand but moved to Australia and lost the accent a long time ago. I have citizenship in both countries.

I should have known that! I lived in the Netherlands for a few years. In fact now that you mentioned it, I think I did know that.

Many New Zealanders also refer to their country by its Māori name, Aotearoa.

I'm Australian but I've visited there several times, as I have family there.
