Never been to Costco. We don't have Target.

I like this:

The Last Bookstore.

It's in Los Angeles.

It used to be the video rental store, I will forever cherish them, even though they are gone

Now, I like the thrift shop (op shop in Australia) some of them have a wide variety of stuff for a good price, the profits go to charity and it keeps stuff out of landfill

My most favorite and least favorite store is Walmart. They pretty much have everything I need at reasonable prices, but I hate the crowds and noise.

Radio Shack, before they went down the rabbit hole selling third-rate mobile phones.

from the french supermarkets; intermarché, often best price/qualite and usually friendly staff,
contrary to some other chains, or managers, where customers are a unwelcome detail to staff

Costco. It's where I do like 99% of my shopping. Groceries, jeans, vitamins etc - all the essentials. Decent prices, quality products, clean, good service, best paid staff in the industry etc.

But they also sell a lot of crap.. like total junk, especially their "great value," food-like appearing products that are mostly just cardboard & corny syrup with preservatives and artificial everything. And they're notorious for paying people lousily while obliterating local mom & pop shops.

I'd WAY rather shop at Costco and get better products for similar prices while knowing the people that work there can afford to eat, too.
