Stuff I collected while I was in Japan PLUS things my late grandparents left me from when they lived in Japan (like the big kitty and the "Shichifukujin" aka 7 Gods of Luck.)

I had to put these all away in my top cabinet in my room so that the cats won't break them but I at least arranged them to look pretty. :cat:

Cool.

All my Japanese knick-knacks are toy JDM cars. :nerdy:

Definitely, and a lot of them didn't get sold in the US or Canada.

I'm honestly not much into cars (can't drive anyways) but I did see some really cool cars in Japan. Some were really small like they could only fit one person. :)

Btw speaking of the "Lucky 7", I have a funny story to share.

Me and my sister almost missed our flight from Canada back home to the US (we had to fly from Japan to Canada to Georgia and vice versa when going to Japan).

We were running through the airport despite the fact that I had injured my knee walking up the shrine steps, I even had to throw my medication away in the trash so we could get through security faster, but I wound up screwing up at security anyways because I had too much luggage loaded on a tray and forgot to take my belt off going through the gate.

My sister was terrified we would miss our flight and basically be stuck in Canada with no transportation or money to get back home. We would have been ROYALLY screwed!

But we got very lucky, when we got to the plane it was delayed. If it had left on time we would have been in a mess.

My sister later joked with my mom that she thought those 7 Lucky Gods I obsess over gave us their blessing after I offered a coin to them at this statue I found in one of the shrines in Tokyo. Who's to say she was wrong?

I'm glad that luck was on your side.

I don't think even Camilla gets royally screwed, I'm sure you guys would have been safe. Charles isn't even in Canada right now. :nerdy:

Bwahahaha!! ! Took me a moment to realize who you were talking about.

I forgot that Queen Elizabeth passed away and her son and his mistress... err 'wife' are now King and Queen. :king: :queen:

And here's a random intro scene from the video game "Trapt" about the Game of Thrones-like drama of royal families in a nutshell. :nerdy:

Btw I missed Charles and Camilla's royal wedding and coronation, but I'm sure all I need to do is watch "The Purple Wedding" clip from Game of Thrones to get an idea of how it all went down.

I doubt it was that exciting.

I don't hate them, I just despise the concept of monarchy. I'd "hate" Diana just as much if she was Chuckles wife instead.

Well I meant I could picture someone in the background saying "We have a new Queen... better her than Diana."

But yeah I don't really keep up with the royal family either. I'm pretty indifferent towards them myself. :)

They're even less relevant to you. Technically, they're Canada's royal family.

I also don't keep up with America's royalty aka Hollywood. :P
