Persistence is a virtue.

Not sure, only ever tried one for a few feet. Probably could if I wanted to, but it'd probably be awkward since they're so tiny and I'm 6'2" ~220lbs. I think they'd be a little shaky/wobbly/unstable at the front wheel since they turn on a dime - that's the part that would take some getting used to scooting in a pretty straight line.

It's not a goal of mine, though, so I may never find out Unless one just happens to be kicking around and I hop on it sometime.

I'm too fat to use a kick scooter. I'm 5-4 and I weigh 280 lbs. I've tried and I almost broke the scooter. One of the employees at Sportschek told me to stay off of them.

I've never tried but I doubt if I could. I am very awkward at many similar tasks.

Yes, but i used to skateboard and rollerskate as a kid and still do on occasion. I'm quite comfortable on wheels generally.

I am dyspraxic and find riding a bicycle challenging.

I also have problems with my joints due to EDS and cycling really strains my knees.

However, I find using a kick scooter much easier. You can just step on and off it and its way more acceptable to use them on pavements. Less threatening to other folk I think. Low impact and strain on joints too.

My partner and I bought 'Swifty' folding ones with 16" wheels - so they are very stable and not 'skittish' like the really small type that are more common.

Very likely.
