It's not just me financially struggling

Panhandlers in the grocery store parking lot

Homeless putting up tents

Someone set up an entire tent and was cooking and selling something that looked like pupusas. The tent was at a residential corner, in front of someones house. Totally not a strategic location. Someone else set up a tent a couple of blocks away. Find it hard to imagine that she had a county permit to sell food. Also find it hard to imagine she earned over minimum wage. Also would not feel comfortable eating her pupusas, regardless of cost, even though they looked delicious, because of sanitation

Other desperate people literally selling fruit on the side of the street. Makes me afraid that if I get made redundant, I will end up just like them. Feel sorry for them
