Well, there is evidence both for and against God. There is so much beauty and intricacy in the universe, it makes you wonder- could coincedence and the laws of nature created this, or something divine?
There is no evidence for God. Even if there is evidence for design - I'm not saying there is by the way - that would not mean there is evidence for God.
Anyway for a designer to sit down and have conjured up everything is ... not very interesting - I personally understand how to design something, I design software for instance. It is not very special if I understand how to do it.
What would be special is if a small set of physical laws can - over a scale of time too large to be understood - have generated the galaxies, the sun, planets, bacteria, fish, and trees ... well that really would be amazing. A-MA-ZING. That would be worth thinking about.
Compared to that the idea of God the designer is like a cheap salesman.
Wow.
How did you do that? That's so backward, it deserves an ovation for performance.
You made utter randomness out to be exciting, while making an infinite Genius out to be boring and dull. With a mindset like that, you can believe ANYTHING, whether sensical or not! Congrats.
(And, I'm certain you don't belong here, as in past months of discussion, you've never shown the slightest inkling of openness toward the existence of God. Your reasoning on that subject has proven to be a closed circle. For instance, there's "NO evidence", AT ALL, for God?? C'mon,
no one truly believes that! Be more subtle in your denial, and you'll come off more convincing.)
