So far I've seen people on the Right do looksmaxxing by literally bashing their own bodies and faces and often bringing up eugenics vibes of how the "perfect man" must have an extremely chad face and he must be strong yada yada and a misogynist.
But on the Left, the looksmaxxing is rather similar except with the opposite. On the left, you get rated based on how colorful your hair is, are you obese, are you attracted to the same-sex, do you have gender dysphoria, do you support LGBT, etc.
Seems that both have this eugenics vibe. The Right want the strong men and extremely obedient women while the Left want extremely obedient men and women and bonus points if they're obese. The Left wants the men to be feminized as an attempt to try and balance the equilibrium of the gender.
Both looksmaxxings of the Left and Right result in mutilation of the bodies whether by bashing faces or applying ludicrous paint to make yourself like you are "non-conforming". Myself I am a leftist but I am fine with an officer hat with the red star on it and a big black jacket for my own communist cosplaying if I want to express myself and my ideology. On a daily basis, I look like a moderate so why bother looksmaxxing?
