I'm not scared of that fat, ignorant, lying, cheating blowhard.

I'm scared of what he may do.

I'm more scared of the people who love Trump and the people who hate Trump than I am of Trump himself.

he is a fat old man. not scary in terms of his physical presence but in terms of what he knows and WHO he knows [mobsters and other downright psychopathic madmen in high positions the world over] who will do him favors, he is a very scary cat indeed. what he wants to do to this country [turn it into his personal personality cult fiefdom and rend representative democracy as a basic concept] should scare the living bejesus out of any caring person. his lack of basic decency is chilling to the core.

I wouldn’t want to be alone with him.

Obviously, there are bigger concerns. I’m just sayin’…

It doesn’t necessarily work that way. People who are castrated still offend.

a lot of guys [speaking from personal experience] feel totally emasculated and weak when their stuff lost the right stuff. IOW he prolly at that point is a paper tiger who is all mouth and little anything else. but yes, a mouthy impotent psychopath can still do other kinds of damage.

I don’t think that’s quite the same thing. Most guys don’t abuse a lot of women. Given the other facets of his personality, it might be more about power and control than sex.
Quote:
That rate of recidivism in surgically castrated offenders is about the same as it for all sex offenders. According to the Department of Justice, 5.3 percent of all sex offenders were rearrested for another sex crime within three years of their release.

You don’t need a hard penis to sexually abuse someone.

I am terrified that a future President Trump combining with the corrupt supreme court we have now...will make him El Presidente for life.

The supreme court is now an even worse disgrace than Trump himself.

I am worried that he made ideals a political issue not a what is right or what is wrong issue, instead it is based on your party affiliation. Anything he influences or comes in contact with he corrupts

I am scared of the implementation of Project 2025.

Yet people will still vote for him because they think the Dems will take their guns and "oppress" Christians.

That said, it isn't what Trump himself *could* do, it's what his state-level enablers, like Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis, are already doing.

we're dealing with a mass of people who just don't care about anything outside of their own privileged spot in our society, they can't see that they are just as vulnerable [should the project 2025 people win and enact their agenda] as the rest of us.

I'm scared of the 80 million Americans that believe every word he says.

It's more what he represents. And what comes after him. It's what it says about where the world is in general that he's been allowed, encouraged even, to happen. We've experienced the same sort of thing with Boris Johnson in the UK.

These people are symptoms of a societal, maybe even cilivilisational malaise. I don't think we believe in the future any more. That's what scares me. I think we're in the process of building bunkers and boarding up windows in the belief it will help us weather a storm we just sort of feel coming, like how cats can detect falling atmospheric pressure.

Trump and Johnson are cockroaches, and as we all know, cockroaches will survive almost anything you throw at them. I think a lot of people believe that if we cosy up to the cockroaches then that's our best hope of survival.
