It's for a head shop(the sort of place that sells weed pipes and stuff like that for anyone not familiar with the term), and well I have wanted to work at one of those for a really long time. So, I hope I can get the job I think it would be perfect.

I just have to remember it's just an interview, I don't want to get too excited about it before I know for sure if they want to hire me or not.

Good luck. I know basically nothing relevant about those places. The rule used to be not to ever refer to anything in there as a bong, but now that such things are legal here, I don't think that rule still exists.

Yeah, a while back I was looking for a bong and was cautious about calling it that, but they said it was fine since it's legal now. Beforehand shops like that were being more cautious as to not get shut down, they also used to have signage up specifying that all the glass pipes were for tobacco use only. Of course people knew it was just something you had to pretend but no one really thought you were buying it for tobacco.

Well, I think it went well enough overall, but this one stays open till 2 am so they may be looking more for someone who can cover that later shift and I told them I'd only be able to do morning to afternoon or afternoon to evening. I have an electric scooter(not the moped kind or whatever you can take on the street, but the sort that looks like a kick scooter so bike lanes/sidewalks/paved trails). And I don't feel safe taking a 20 to 30 minute scoot home at 2 am especially since the route involves a trail that is rather secluded.

If it wasn't for that I could have perhaps gotten the job, but I will just have to keep my eye out for similar opportunities. I figure they probably chose someone else who can stay till 2 am since they have not gotten back to me.

Good luck!

I think it's still possible.
I've seen employers take their sweet precious time getting back to people lately.

Also, I'm glad you voiced your concerns about personal safety.

Well, I didn't tell them all that, just said I wouldn't be able to take that shift, though there probably would have been nothing wrong with it if I had told them the reason. I just have a hard time opening up about things to people.

I have also applied at a vape store, which I haven't heard back from yet but I still could. I do vape nicotine, I switched over from smoking cigarettes. So I do have some familiarity with that as well, but in the meantime still searching through job adds for anything that looks do-able.
