I have been feeling depressed and emotionally unstable as of late, are we prone to this behavior? I consider myself a strong person, but I feel paranoid in work, get upset and don't talk, feel emotionally semi ''paralyzed'' can't say my thoughts or get in the group like the others, talk with women, the way one guy I work with does. The women I am interested in I feel as if I am so far away, to express my thoughts or get close physically, and feel so deeply. I go home and have emotional meltdown crying privately. I try my best to ''talk'' but always in my opinion comes out terrible,

I can very quiet in groups and don’t fit in very well because I take everything very seriously and feel things too deeply. I am also quite a slow thinker and can’t think of much to say a lot of the time.

I went to therapy once and it was helpful because the focus was on me and I could take as much time as I wanted to process my thoughts and feelings.

Pretty much di$nt get much of a voice around people till my 50s ,,,quit worrying about others opinions so much .
And getting older , it just seems that if others get away with saying some of the nonsense they spout . Within reason.. am more willing to speak. my mind.
