Hello, sorry if this sort of question isn't permitted on the site. I (21) was wondering if anyone is aware of any places near Houston / The Woodlands that takes adult patients who are looking to improve sensory processing / reduce overstimulation? Any autism centers I've found in the area exclusively work with children, so it's looking like I'm out of luck there.

I was diagnosed late (as in last year) and had no guidance after that so I'm not even sure what kind of professional I'd need? I assumed a neurologist would be who to talk to but my exceptionally unhelpful neuro told me I was wrong and then refused to redirect me.

Any info is much appreciated

This is not for people with autism specifically but it has been recommended to me as being a good place with good people: https://www.mendcenter.org/

I haven't tried it myself and have no personal experience with them.
